Infiniti QX 56 vs. LC

Love my 08 LC but the new redesigned QX 56 has caught my eye and I have inquired about it. Pluses and minuses to both vehicles but I am attracted by the more luxurious interior of the QX. Has anyone else compared the 2 vehicles? If anyone wants to flame me for even thinking about the QX please do but let me know why.

A major drawback of the QX is that it is not full time 4wd like the LC but rather it is a primarily rear wheel drive vehicle that shift power front to back once slippage is detected. This doesn't seem ideal to me as I would rather not be slipping in the first place and then waiting for the system to react.

If you want a mall cruiser that you don't plan to keep long term the Infiniti is probably fine. The LC may not have as much interior Luxe as some of the other cars in it's class, but most people buy the LC for it's world class dependability and off road prowess. If you buy a new car every 3-5 years and don't go offroad much then the Infiniti is fine.

People like the legend and lore that surrounds the Land Cruiser, the Infiniti just doesn't have that.

Infiniti is made by Nissan, They are good cars, probably right behind Toyota and Honda, but long term their reliability is not as good. I don't know a whole lot about the Infinity but I would imagine it's off road prowess is more in line with the Toyota Sequoia.

10 years from now an Infiniti will look dated, LC's improve with age. You could still turn heads at the Oscars pulling up in a well cared for LC 60.

QX56 is like most other SUV's...is a better buy for most US shoppers. Big, comfy, gadget ridden, stylish...etc. Based on the Armada though it's been problematic since the series was released some years ago. Compared to Toyota SUV's the QX is similar as well though a step down in reliability and longevity.

A Land Cruiser is just that...a Land Cruiser. It's its own creation. In it's class it's once again the most reliable SUV made (like the last series was every year during it's life). When the LC is 8-years old it'll look and feel like a QX that's 3-years old. When the QX is shows it's wear and you need to trade the LC will still be like new and you will keep it unless you have cash to burn. Yes, you give up size and some other perks with the LC...what you gain is true value though.

如果你想要一个购物中心巡洋舰,你不打算用Infiniti从长远来看,可能就行。立法会可能没有尽可能多的室内乐文娜如一些其他汽车在它是类,但大多数人在买LC因为它是世界级的可靠性和在道路威力。如果你买一部新车每3 - 5年,不要走多孩Infiniti就很好。

QX56就像其他大多数辆SUV的……是更好的买给大多数美国购物者。大,舒服的,小器具骑,现代风格的…等。基于天顶星舰队虽然它曾经有问题的自系列是发布了一些年前。丰田的SUV比较相似QX下台虽然在可靠性和寿命。

第一句简单略去若干字，QX一旦遭遇打滑现象，动力将由前轮切换到后轮。这对我来说不是最佳选择。我可不像等到打滑出现之后，才让车子的“系统”来相应并“搞定”。
